McCain Can't Fool Women
Presidential candidate Senator John McCain (R-AZ) is doing his best to ignore his dismal record on women’s and children’s issues. His efforts, however, do not outwit the average thinking woman. We know he is not promoting an agenda that meets the needs of families, women and children. Instead, McCain is serving a radically conservative viewpoint that is exactly like the abysmal policies of President Bush.
Sen. McCain’s policies are completely at odds with the needs of most American women. We cannot allow him to continue the financial ineptitude that began eight years ago and has left all American women in a precarious position. McCain’s “health care” plan will endanger millions of American women who get insurance through their jobs and force them to negotiate one to one with the insurance companies.
McCain’s positions on reproductive and civil rights for women are a step back to a generation ago. And McCain’s 100-year plan for occupying Iraq is no more popular with women than other Americans.
